Reflexology is a non-invasive therapy that involves applying pressure to particular areas of the feet and hands creating a positive effect within the body.

Based on the premise that each reflex on the foot and hand is directly connected to a specific part of the body, reflexology encourages activation of your own healing mechanisms.

The feet are the main areas that the therapist will be working on and sometimes the hands if working to treat a particular ailment.

Reflexology has many beneficial and lasting effects. Reflexology treatments are gentle in nature, aiming to restore systems for better function. It is a healing process that can be safely used when it is not convenient to treat other body parts. As a non-intrusive technique, it heals indirectly. Reflexology can be a relaxing therapy that works on many levels, soothing, calming, balancing and boosting the entire body.

What is an antioxidant?
Antioxidants occur naturally in plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea, wine, and chocolate. While there are thousands of antioxidant compounds out there flavanols (found in chocolate), resveratrol (found in grapes), and lycopene (found in tomatoes). Other popular antioxidants include vitamins A (beta-carotene), C, E, and catechins.
Antioxidants help prevent or stop cell damage caused by oxidants. (Get it? Antioxidants.)
“Oxidants are free radicals ( or nasty substances ) that you find in the environment, but they're also produced naturally in your body due to internal environment coming from medication, drugs, alcohol, unhealthy eating habits, and external factors like pollution, chemicals, air pollution, cigarette smoke ect…..
Your body creates them to help fend off viruses and microbes, but if you have too many oxidants, they can cause serious damage and contribute to certain cancers and heart disease.
So where can you get them in your food

Think : Purple, Red, Blue, Orange and Green produce

Sweet potato, berries, blueberries, gogi berries, eggplant, carrot, green leafy vegetables, green tea Just to name a few………………………
